Sharing Our Stories: Women Against Domestic Violence

Presented by Sojourners, Free Bresha, Mahoning Valley Organizing Collaborative, and the Kindred Moxie Network Domestic violence occurs in every community – yet faith communities are often silent about it. Join Rev. Marcia Dinkins, Dr. Andrea Smith, and Rev. Victoria Ferguson-Young to learn how they are courageously breaking the silence and teaching people of faith to respond appropriately to intimate partner violence. This conversation also highlights the plight of Bresha Meadows, a young survivor of child abuse and domestic violence who was arrested for allegedly killing her abusive father. Discover how Bresha’s story is our story and what you can do to support her and other victims of violence and abuse.
